You set off alarms at the Presidio?!
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Shit would be funny if you get caught urban exploring and sent to Guantanamo Bay... ok, maybe not funny.

I dunno. I seen pictures of the cells and what not...not too shabby.

FINALLY, my bike comes next week.  This time I have more confidence that the ETA I'm being given is accurate... since I was able to square away all the paperwork, title, registration, and payment today (I have the VIN of my bike as well).  I had to go to another dealership since the bike has yet to arrive at the first dealership I put a deposit down at... and I'll be getting it from a dealership farther away which sucks, but it's better than waiting until God knows when.  The dealership is like 10 minutes down the road from where Sidoh stayed the last summer he was in MD... I had his apartment saved in my GPS and so I saw it pop up on the screen on my way to the dealership today and was like "Man, too bad Sidoh isn't going to be in MD this summer".

Drugs?

iago's very perceptive for a Canuck. I went down with a church and set up a medical clinic in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Lots of drugs were handed out, given that we saw over 2,200 patients.

U-Haul sucks, they didn't have a receiver to attach the pickup to the trailer, so my co-worker ended up driving me and escorting me back the 90 minute drive from the dealership... I can say I safely made it home alive.  Jesus loves me?

The bike got home alive and well for the most part too. I did not drop it or lay it down, technically? Meaning... I did get a scratch on a piece of plating near the inner part of the tailpipe going around a traffic circle... skimming the curb... it was a side swipe of the curb at stopping speed... wheels/rubber never touched the curb... it looks like only one small piece would need to be replaced and maybe a nut/screw, not the whole tailpipe or anything.

I'm so noob, so pissed at myself. Was all going well until that, wasn't even on a busy traffic or on the worst part of the drive back. Meh, gah, I'm such a screw up. Oh well, it's what I get for being impatient and too cheap to rent the 14' U-Haul truck or waiting until I could find someone at work with a truck + trailer/ramp to borrow.  Fuck me.

The good news: my adviser and I are finally getting along again. It only took 3 months apart. :)

Greetings from Germany!

A lot has happened since I've last posted here. Recorded and released a five song EP (download available here for those interested), and now we're in Germany for three months. Started off with a kickass festival (http://youtu.be/04Rl9TcmzmE), now we have two months off in a small rural town with not a single worry (free house + food + booze) but to write our next record. Heavy touring the last month out here in a massive double-decker tour bus (my first tour bus), then back to the states to hopefully record another record. If only life was always this much fun. :)

I finally caved in and bought an office chair for my apartment's desk. It's a huge improvement over the kitchen chair I was using. :)

Ha ha! I'm not sure how I survived so long with the nefarious kitchen chair. The fact it didn't hurt to stand up after a few hours in it is a huge plus :) It totally makes the trip to two Office Depots worth it.

I received a Logitech G700 mouse for my birthday, and this thing is so cool. I can adjust the sensitivity, make my mouse wheel roll like crazy, and program buttons to do stuff! Plus, it's much more comfortable than my old, $10 mouse from 2005. :)
