It's funny, I know enough that I could probably make $50/hour+ doing rentacoder projects, but I'm too lazy and it wouldn't be a stable payrate.
Uhh, fifty dollars an
hour? You could be making $100,000 a year, and you're too
lazy?
I see the problem with this statement. You couldn't make fifty dollars an hour if you sucked dick alongside the project.
Here is where I call bullshit on your statement, and for the following reasons:
You barely know enough Java to write well-coded projects worth the $50/hr.
Nobody wants projects in VB 6.0 anymore, it's called .NET.
None of your other languages are worth even mentioning here.
Rent-a-coder projects aren't standard at $50/hr. If you can find ten worth $50 an hour that are for VB6,
DO IT YOU LAZY BAG OF ASS. It's not that it's not a stable payrate, but the project payrates vary (it'll be a stable payrate, just not at $50/hr, or anything close to that).
Hell, I don't think even
I could make $50/hr writing projects. I don't think I am worthy of $50/hr. Hell, the last thing I wrote (a Perl script I am still developing, will try to finish tonight) is so sloppy I don't think I would even take payment for it. It gets the job done, but it's awfully written and not worth any amount of money. Sure, my time is valuable, but my time well-spent is what earns money.
God, it seems like I am doing nothing but attacking you. :\
