No entiendo el razón de las discutas en las varias idiomas.  En total, opino que es una actividad que pase tiempo sin ninguna cosa positiva.  Pero, es una oportunidad para practicar mi español.  Hace cinco o seis meses que yo he tomado una clase.

Yes and Mandarin and Cantonese are both dialects of Chinese. Chinese pretty much has the same written words, but one of them is simplified and the other isn't. Mainly, Mandarin is spoken in China... pretty much accepted as the national dialect; however, there are parts where they would speak other dialect as well as Mandarin. Simpilified is also used in China. Pretty much the only parts that don't use Simplified is Hong Kong and Taiwan (That I know of). People in Hong Kong speak Cantonese (And English, damn British ). Taiwan people speak Taiwanese. So don't say that because they use a certain writing style doesn't mean it's the same dialect. Anywho. The difference between the two dialects are big, but if you know how it sound you might be able to guess the meaning of the other if you know one. The writing is usually the same, but Simpilified just takes less strokes or whatever. They pretty much look the same and many words are the same, only a few of the more common words that are hard to write are different in Simpiflied.

I strongly agree with that. There's a mexican at my school who constantly "speaks" it (I mean literally, he -never- doesn't not speak ebonics). It bugs the crap out of me.

Get over it. Better than constantly speaking Spanish, isn't it? Hey, even I speak with a slight ebonic accent now, and I'm white.

This one isn't a foreign language, but its not the Latin Alphabet, so have fun with it. Nobody has this font, I'm guessing, so PNG time!
