I'm getting my internet back October 11th, now if I have a working comp by then is the question..

I have redesigned how everything will work in my notebook/grandmothers comp.

I will be trying to get to the bottom of the problem with my computer soon.

I'm in. Previous works: Joetheodd Productions. Its pretty sweet, too bad I can't get :80 forwarded. Anyhow, I'm fluent in PHP, nothing advanced. Oh yeah, another previous work, JoeBB, which is pretty much yours if you want it. =p
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I'm interested, I know php3 and lots of 4, I know SQL.  Previous works have been shot, several times.  I lack the ability to create nice looking themes, but I know how to do the behind the scenes work (the real coding). :)
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Joe seems to be an upcoming developer and can be put to use with AdvancedContent
Blaze can contribute to AdvancedContent from the previous work I have seen him do.

I am right now creating an FTP account and mySQL database to setup a beta website while the regular one is rendered under construction.

Both of you will be PMed the information for the beta FTP and I will upload the phpMyAdmin information tomorrow.

Coding style and rules will be included in this PM.

I seriously doubt the consistancy of this project because of your inconsistant online appearences.

When you can be regular agian, we'll talk.

That was one of the reasons I didn't "apply for a possition."

A little bit of that, some of I don't like having a boss for programming jobs (at this point in my life, anyway) and some of you'd force me to code your way, and I think it sucks (not trying to be mean at all, I just like my methods more than yours personally).

Not coding my way actually, it's more uniform way of leaving quotes to let everyone else know where they are.

My methods > yours :/ :)

I don't think of myself as a boss in any way either, although I do reserve the position of Lead Developer, I'm not going to force anyone to do anything.

About my online question, I ordered my ram to get here tuesday and I will be online after October 11th so everything is good.

Edit: The main site was brought down for maintenence by me yesterday and moved to a development location.

I have some cool things in store for AdvancedContent but that will be discussed between the developers and myself.

Quotes?  Err... okay.

I really don't think so.  I can't agree with you at all.  But to each his own, right?

I wouldn't want that, k? :P

You've been intermittently active even when your computer works in the past.

Uh Quotes? I meant comments, oops.

I'd say it's hard to judge me withought seeing code I am not willing to give forward to non developer.
Let's just give me the benefit of the doubt.

About the Lead Developer, what do you propose I'd be? I mean I have coded it myself so far..

In x86 or in AdvancedContent? In any of them I have been extremely active, the push from
1.1 to 2.0 was a great one which involved almost a complete rewrite and change in direction.
I plan to build off the power of 2.0 to make 2.1 which will be presentable and releaseable and I plan to
do so before the years end.

I think I show my determination pretty well if I program on my CMS in the library two or three times a day and if I jot down things in my notebook. My coding style really doesn't differ and it's how it's recommended in all of the PHP books I have read. Which includes camel case and other things.

The only thing I am lacking is extreme HTML skills which I make up for my spending dark nights with w3c and XHTML.

If you have anymore questions about the direction of my project or anything else concerning it, please respond.

Look over my messages and find where I said you shouldn't be the lead developer.  I simply stated I didn't want to "work under you" (or at lest implied that).  I honestly don't think that would work very well.

Camel case isn't recommended for PHP in any of the PHP books I've read, to be honest.  Additionally, I don't give a shit about the casing, that's a negligible issue.  I've developed my own coding style, I don't follow what books recommend.  Frankly I think it's better than what most the books I've read recommend, other than the fact I don't use a template engine in most of my projects.

Well you said you didn't want to work under me so you must not want me to be lead developer, right?
That's why I asked for recommendation on what you think I should be, additionally no one was begging anyone to join and the enviroment I was going for was a group of programmers coding on a project.
Now I made myself Lead Developer since frankly I did write the CMS and don't wan't it to fall off track and have no organization. Sort of like how Newby is the figurehead of x86. I merely suggest things to code and ask for an opinion.

It's in a few of the books I read and some online documents. It's greatly liked as opposed to the
"function_name_which_does_this" type of coding.

In a project such as this which aims for flexibility, something like this is essential don't you think?

You said that, not me.  Loser. =P  Additionally, I said I don't want to join this project.  I did NOT say you shouldn't be the project leader.  Think past a simple statement and look for an alternative meaning.

It's in a few of the books I read and some online documents. It's greatly liked as opposed to the
"function_name_which_does_this" type of coding.
Why?  I generally tend to follow the naming conventions that the language itself follows.  PHP does not use camel casing.  It's greatly liked by whom?  You?  The authors of the books you've read?  Whoopdy doo!  I don't like it, don't generalize.

In a project such as this which aims for flexibility, something like this is essential don't you think?
... I said that was something that my coding styles LACKED.  I didn't say I COUDLNT or SHOULDNT do it.  Learn to read, buddy.  :P  Also, I have done it.  http://sidoh.dark-wire.net uses a template engine that I made a while ago.

Your points kinda suck man.  :(
