Another suggestion/inquery:

What's the limit to the number of news posts that are displayed on the main page?

TODO: Topic Viewing.

If you don't mind me saying, ROFLMAO.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I think it's 10.

@ Joe: hmm?
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

Not yet.
Still have a ton of code to work out including the huge task of porting the private messaging code to the skinning system.

That doesn't seem that significant assuming you've made your template system versatile.

If you ask me, you're jumping around to much.  Write down a list of things that need to be done for some section, do them and then move on.  Things get too sloppy if you don't do it that way.

How can it communicate with the skinning system withought supporting the Skinning API? After all I don't want a mediocre "str_replace()" skinning system.

Well, I code things in thier order of significance. Sometimes things come in front or things can be done earlier to avoid problems in the long run.

It causes trouble in the long run.  You forget where you were and end up having to review code, it often gets confusing and you lose the good train of thought you had before you dropped that subject.

Considering the amount of code embedded into the PM code, it may get difficult to convert it to the Skin API and have it automaticly find it's themeing files. Of course, you'll have to take my word for it since you can't see the source.

I don't leave code half done, I merely extend it which eliminates the risk of me being lost in old code. Of course periodicly I may update old portions of code to newer standards but that's nothing big.

I still don't think it would be that difficult, assuming you didn't suck it up too much when you made your PM system and your template system isn't difficult (you seem to be good at making things a lot harder than they should be).

Secondly, that's just another way of looking at leaving things half done.  :P

Updated forums and added Topic viewing inside forums.

Still need to do individual posts inside the topics though.

Fixed the mess you made. Added ability to create topics. No replying yet but it's a start.

Note: This new code is VERY beta and may be riddled with bugs. I have (for now) embedded an error reporter to the user if anything goes wrong. If you notice anything, please let me know.

Have fun,
Nelson

I have been able to find the source of a bug.

It had to do with the name being too long in any field. I will fix that so it errors and deletes anything that was created so far.
