Longhorn finally named...
« on: July 22, 2005, 02:56:08 pm »
Say hi to Microsoft Vista. Requires a PC made within the last 2 years to run decently!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I like Vista as a name better then Longhorn.  Everybody knew Longhorn wasn't going to be the final name anyways it was just the codename, like XP was Whistler.

Vista sounds like the name of an old folks home.

We're wondering how long it'll take before somebody makes a worm for it :)

I believe it was the name of Mr. Kurz's (second, yet hated) home in Memory Boy. The name of the old folks' resident was "Buena Vista".
