Question, k?
« on: August 01, 2005, 08:29:10 pm »
Well, there's some smart people in x86...and then there's the not so bright ones, anyways, hoping one group or the other could help me out understanding this PM I received on the myg0t forums:

http://screend-productions.net/ScreenShots/wtfdoyoumean.JPG

I beleive he's talking about my signature (look below), however, I can't seem to understand his..how do I say...stupid?

So help me out here and maybe I'll give you a cookie.

He wants to know how you get a signature.  You need to update your version of firefox btw.

I didn't actually think anyone attended the myg0t forums. Why in hell would you want to do that?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

We both left quite recently actually, I had gotten an email notifying me that I had a PM, normally, it's something along the lines of that one, however I couldn't quite understand him.

Quik: Their forums are more active then x86's.

As for actually hanging around with myg0t, I'm just good friends with StonedGorilla and Peepus, we play BF2 a lot. (Legit, so don't ask).

EDIT AGAIN

And I play Guild Wars with MAKONG. -.-;

I see where 12 year old script kiddies being immature counts as being active.

I can see where hanging around 12 year old script kiddies being immature is a good reason to post. =p

How active a community is far from the only factor in a successful one.

No one said anything about it being successful, but that's asside from the fact that they have multiple sponsers.

I beg to differ. Its activity pales in comparison to the General Mayhem forums, which have a good amount of posts (thousands) a day.

What's that? You've never heard of GenMay?

Well, I hardly ever hear of Myg0t.

To each his own.

Yes. I would have argued that point if it weren't so obvious. I assumed screenor was speaking within the realm of our interests (though I'm not sure if the community you speak of does is as well, Newby).

But anyway. Screenor:
Any website that gets a large amount of visitors each day is more than eligible to have nice sponsors. The sponsors benefit from the pact as well, obviously.
