LOL @ Six Feet Under. They are so far from thrash metal it's not even funny.

Oh well. It managed to pick my favorite genre of metal. :)

Six feet under is more like "dirt metal" - they go deep and have a deep-voiced lead singer. Some of thier music is pretty fast playing, not all but some songs.

Happier, lighter metal. Usually focuses on medieval wars and life. You have bands like Blind Guardian and Iron Maiden.

I don't really like surveys like this but I will tell you my favorite metal album: Jugulator - Judias Preist w/ Ripper Owens.
The best in heavy metal, period, stfu, NO, You're wrong, NO, it's Jugulator by Judias Preist, no arguements at all. K.
