I ranted in my forum. Now, a guide has been published that highlights how much of a scam buying online music is.

And this page is great for removing the licenses on the media files you download! Aha, damn I love the internet.

Its all a money making scheem.  The next thing you know, to play the music, you will have to have your homepage set to apple.c(a)(om)
