Well, I beleive we all know that New Orleans got hit by Katrina, well, here's what's going on exactly, it's basically police and the national guard communicating, but eh, thought it was neat.

Haha, national guard.  At MEPS they called them 'weekend warriors.'

Haha, national guard.  At MEPS they called them 'weekend warriors.'

Thats been the coin phrase for them for years.

My brothers currently serving in kuwait right now with the guard. We had a couple of them come home and were directly sent over to new orleans. They said that they preferred kuwait / iraq over this. Right now they're on a "shoot to kill" order due to all of the looting being done at the hospitals.

Yeah, I heard that from my friend in New York yesterday over Teamspeak.  She has some friends or something down there.

She said they caught a cop on tape looting.  The cop, after questioned, claimed she was 'looking for looters' with a shopping cart full of stuff.
