Should Newby visit Networks and MyndFyre?
« on: September 12, 2005, 01:41:03 pm »
Newby's travelling to Arizona this weekend to check out a house his dad is buying.  It turns out, Networks and I live in the same town (in fact, he goes to my former high school) and Newby will be going to the next town over -- about 15 minutes away.

So -- the question is, should he visit us?  He keeps saying he won't because he's a jerk.  This is your opportunity to change his mind!
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

You, not Networks. Networks sucks, you suck substantially less. I don't want Newby subjected to Networks' ideology of trust-hating.

MyndFyre, you're a retard. (<3)

On a side note, hell yeah.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Stop that, even if it is a joke.

If it isn't too much of an inconvieniance for Newby, then of course.
You're a retard. :P

I think he should.  But, it would probably be a little weird..
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Damn right!  But there'll be a next time, hopefully :P

I also missed my chance to meet Stealth, who spent a weekend in Winnipeg (I found out he was here on the Sunday).

When I went to Tmp/Xar's house, it was great fun.  Meeting people from online rocks!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

When I went to Arizona for Intel ISEF, I guess I was reasonably close to Networks (it was in Phoenix).  His uncle was one of the judges for the Engineering category, he said.  I never got the time to work out a visit with him, though.  :(

When I was in California for NYLF on Technology, I was in the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, which is also reasonably close to both Quik and Ergot.  We still never worked out a visit.  :(

Anyway... Newby!  Don't be a nub.  Go see Networks and Myndy!  :P
