I've seen the light!
« on: September 23, 2005, 01:07:48 pm »
Let me code VB for the last time. Ever.

Set ReasonsNotToUseLinux = Nothing.

Yup. I finally figured out how to get onto the internet using Linux, and tested it with my Ubuntu live CD. Let me back some crap up and Windows will forever be slain. I mean forever. My install CD is corrupt. =p

iago, tmp, whoever, if you don't want me using Ubuntu Linux, you had best mail me slackware before I've got too much stuff installed to reformat again. Ubuntu being the only (non Knoppix) distro I have on disk is the one I'm installing. Sorry. =p Thanks Blaze!

You might be right about that, Joe.

Though this doesn't directly relate to this, Joe, I think you'll get it.

You'll never finish it! :(

In other words, my edit is correct, and I'll never use Windows again? Kay.

On a side note, I'm not hesitating, I'm backing up WoW to my iPod. =p

EDIT -
Get on MSN.

Have fun playing WoW on Wine.  That would BLOW.

And no -- I meant once you've been to the darkside, you'll never go to or go back to the light side.  :P

No, I can't get on MSN.  I'm at school.

Yeah, have fun with that.  Even if I primarily used Linux, I'd never get rid of Windows entirely.  It's too common in usage.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

I've been debating that point for a long, long time.  I can't remember the last time I booted Windows, but I think it was before summer.  I still keep it around, though, because you never know.

If you were talking to me, I don't use VB for anything anymore.  :p

VB is good for quick applications to test things, then you should rewrite the application in a real language. ;)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

That's what I said you would say!  Or at least something like that :)

You'll never finish it! :(
