Coping with winter weather!
« on: October 08, 2005, 02:53:17 pm »
Yeah! Anyhow, its freezing out (almost literally) and I could have sworn it was snowing a little bit last night. Summer is over. GG!

Anyhow, hows it going for all you peoplez?! LETZ HEER IT! Yeah, anyhow, we have the heat on and my room is freezing still. I'm thinking of putting on a sweatsuit and gloves (the small ones, so I can still type =p). I busted out the big blanket last night, thank god. =)

So hows it going for you guys?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

It is still hot enough to keep my computer at a constant 50.0C even while off. (hehe, boot after night of sitting -> bios = 49.5C)

63F outside apparently.

Overcast clouds at 2000 feet
  Temperature: 63°F

Update:

Broken clouds at 2200 feet

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Pssh, it's 72 degrees here (that's pretty low, but we've had nonstop rain since yesterday morning and it's supposed to continue all weekend)

Sucks for you, I'm still running my A/C. :P

We got about 6" of snow on Wednesday, and we had subzero (sub-32 F) temperatures Wednesday/Thursday.  But now it's warmed up a bit:

14°C [57.2 F]
Partly cloudy
WIND     S 28 km/h [17.4mph]

[I just rode my bike about 10 miles south, too, that was painful]

There was actually a forecast for snow today, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

My AC hasn't been off since last winter. <3 $300 electric bills. (Caused by my AC, three fans, and my computer constantly being on.)  :(

But, if one isn't on, it really begins to heat up in here, can't wait till winter, then I can atleast turn a fan off and set the AC to low.
