As a general suggestion, you should an active member of our community and get to know the members (and allow the members to do the same with you) before you ask to join.
It's nice to know that you want to join, but it's pretty useless to try when no one knows you.
Tell us a little bit about yourself! Preferably in the "Introductions!" forum.
