I knew I advertised JavaOp2 there for a reason...
« on: November 21, 2005, 12:45:19 am »
This is from JavaOp2's source:

Code: [Select]
// .......
// Encrypt the cdkey
byte []cdkey    = rcrs.getCDKey(clientToken, serverToken, cdkey1, cdkey2);

// Get the exe information (a string stating the date/time of the last modified)
String exeInfo = rcrs.getExeInfo();
// Get the owner of the cdkey; we advertise a little here :)
String exeOwner = "www.JavaOp.com";
// .......

I figured it would be good for advertising.  Then I got these 2 emails today (from the same guy):
http://www.javaop.com/~iago/cdkey-use1.png
http://www.javaop.com/~iago/cdkey-use2.png

That's worth a laugh.  I'm not sure why he sent it twice, perhaps because he wanted it to look like two people were pissed off *shrug*.  And let's all laugh at him for using AOL :-)

<edit>Here's another one from awhile back.  I didn't post it back then, because it's not as funny, but it goes with the others:
http://www.javaop.com/~iago/cdkey-use.png
I'm glad he told me the email address to reply to, though, because otherwise how would I reply to his email!?

Hahah, silly kids trying to use their own cdkey twice, and then accusing you of stealing it. Oh well, their fault. Like Blizzard will do anything. Good job iago, now I know how you get all your keys. ;)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I doubt he was using it himself, because he said he doesn't use JavaOp2.  Somebody must've jacked his key.  Sucks to be him!

Lmfao, what an idiot.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

You should make the owner string read "YOUR JavaOp Bot!"  :)
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

The problem is, the string is limited to 15 characters or so.  I tried making it a full download link :)

I like how your website is using his key, as if it was it's own entity.

Tell him to unplug his computer from the internet, take a propane torch and put it just below the cd drive for three days. :) That might make him less computer illeterate.

Usually it's "unplug the blue internet cord, wait 5 seconds, then unplug the rest of your cords. Proceed to place the computer back into its original box, seal it up, and give it back to the store. Be sure to tell them that you are not mentally capable to own a computer.

ROFL!!!

Haha, I've seen so many computers that people think are "broken" because someone got wise and flipped that switch while it was off.

It's even more fun if they're in Europe, and you tell their power supply to expect 110 volts. :)

I love how 12 year olds like the me of the past think they're cool by swearing left and right.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.
