As I mentioned, these are the attributes for every character:
Strength
Constitution
Dexterity
Speed
Intelligence
Charisma
Willpower
Perception
Luck
I'm just wondering what how you guys would prefer choosing the ratings for them.
By the original rules:
- Players each roll 3d6 9 times (humans roll 4d6, dropping the lowest die, 11 times, and drop the worst two, I believe). They then assign the 9 values they get to the stats they want.
An alternate method:
- I assign you a number of points calculated based on average dice rolls. You then assign the points to your attributes however you like it
I prefer the first way, personally, since I like a little randomness. And if you have a really really crappy set of rolls, I'll let you re-roll everything.
But I can see how some people would like the less random approach.
Opinions? If nobody cares, I'll use the first way, but as always I'm open.
