So, I was at a restaurant with my friends on Sunday. 

I was standing at the urinal, and there was an advertisement on the wall behind it. 

Naturally, I read it.  It said, "1 in 3 people standing here won't wash their hands.  Don't be the 1!"

So I got to thinking, if I don't wash my hands, the odds that the people handling my food WILL wash their hands is higher, right?

Hmm, maybe I should share my second through (not as good):

The urinal beside me (there were two) didn't say that.  So I think I may have been using the urinal for filthy people or something :-/

I considered making myself the 1, in order to raise the odds of people handling my food not being the 1.

It doesn't matter for you...Chlorine. :P I don't wash my hands @ the pool.

But like I read that your urine can spray like 5 feet out of the toilet and you not even notice. Yeah.

I read that urine is completely sterile, its chemicals prevent life forms from growing in it.  So what's the problem? :)

It's a public bathroom.  The real worry is germs from the pants/groin/toilet handle/sink handles/door handle.

Yeah, I always kinda worry about the door handle when I'm walking out.  Most doors are push-open, though, so I just push with my foot (not hard). 

And you're right about the other sources of germs.  But those have nothing to do with the range of urine spatter.  Urine spatter is the least of my worries.
