Speed improvement?
« on: December 15, 2005, 11:33:54 am »
Yesterday night I fixed the template so it would stop writing the same damn message to my error log.  I also optimized tables and such.  Does it feel any faster?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

There's no reason it should take that long, though, I've seen it run on worse systems with bigger databases better.

Or maybe SMF has started doing a lot of stupid queries? *shrug*
