Not saying I don't. Frankly, I'd hate having to live like my parents do as an adult.. they work all fucking day. I'm motivated enough to not have to have to work like that at some place where getting moved up is something that happens once in a blue moon. None of my teachers accept work a week late. And I don't really try in school either, I mean there's a couple tests I might study for (civics tests) but it's all really easy to me still. Oh well, in two years it won't be that way for sure.. (college classes, ugh).
I'm already in college classes (and have been since my sophomore year); they're easier than you'd expect. In fact, the curriculums are a lot more steady than most of the high school courses I've taken.
You try a lot harder than me, I can tell you that for sure. If I did my homework at all, I'd have a 4.0. High GPA's are easy to attain, they mean very little. I mean there's kids in the special education class that have "Academic" letters. Grades don't make you smart (as I'm sure you're well aware).
I'm glad you have that motivation, though. My dad always tells me "get a good education so you don't have to work out in the cold like me." I think I'm doing pretty well in the field I'm going to enter, so I don't really try to hard in other classes (homework-wise). I try when it really matters (IE I have about 20+ assignments I need to complete by this Friday).
