iago! Default Theme
« on: February 15, 2006, 11:29:24 pm »
Was told to put this here rather than on your own forum but..

The "Default Theme for SMF" has a small bug. On the lower left where it says:
*Topic you have posted in
*Normal Topic
*Hot Topic (More than 15 replies)
*Very Hot Topic (More than 25 replies)

The image is the same next to each.

PeeOnMyPC (8:30:23 PM): He'll be like "I don't care. Use a different theme."
PeeOnMyPC (8:30:30 PM): He has preoccupations with college and shit.

It'd take like thirty seconds, and if you won't can I like make the images and you enter them?

complain @ forum manager +1 bitch point!!!!

Personally, I really like the default theme that's set when you install SMF 1.1 RC2.  I don't see anything wrong with it. ^_~

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Oh, haha. I thought that Mercury was the default theme?  In fact, I'm pretty sure it is.  : - \

He meant the SMF default theme, not Mercury, which sucks and is missing icons too.

Man, all these themes suck. Someone fix the themes!@

Haha, I guess I don't pay enough attention to care/notice.  All that really matters to me is if:

  a) I cant tell which topics/boards have unread posts in them.
  b) It's pretty
  c) It's not FUBAR
  d) It's design is intuitive/redundant

I noticed it a while back, but personally I couldnt give a shit. If  you want to know if its a "hot" topic, just look at the # of posts yourself

You should probably get some medication for that.

I never liked the idea of normal/hot/very hot topics.  So on both of the main themes (Mercury and 1.1) I replaced all of the images with the same one.  But since normal, hot, and very hot topics all have the same icon, the legend is actually perfectly accurate :P

:D I agree with you all the way. A topic could also be "hot" and also dead.

ROFL. iago broke it on purpose.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.
