Mind-control is the wrong word.

While I do see a few things wrong with this, it does seem like a good idea for the "greater good."  It would increase our understanding of neural systems pretty nicely.

Generally, mind control constitutes psychokinesis.  This is control of motor functions through means of electronic pulses.
