Wouldnt that water tube make the Earth / Moon act as a single wierd object with a center of mass somewhere near the Earth, and the moon would no longer revolve around the Earth, but the Earth and moon would both just rotate around the center of mass!?!?!?!??!

You'd think that wouldn't you, but the tube isn't draw to scale. It is also telescopic so it can adjust properly to distance when orbiting/rotating :)

It would have to be a very elastic tube.

Yes. It is.

Another major factor that should be considered is the amount of cosmological radiation the moon gets hit with every month.

If someone took a HUGE turd, it would be possible to make impact... and no one would like flaming shit on their head.
Even one the size of a person would burn up, so I don't think it's an issue.

I think it depends on how high it's orbiting.  It also depends on how fast it was traveling when it was "ejected."
If they're smart (they ARE rocket scientists, so I assume they are), they'd shoot it backwards so that it didn't have enough speed to orbit.

Yeah, but there are easy ways to filter the radiation so that's not a huge issue.

It would have to be a very elastic tube.

It's about (roughly) the length of my penis, but with the flaccidity of Newby's.  That's all you should have to know to feel secure about it.

As it turns out, such a tube might be a good thing.  Since the sea level will be rising (supposedly due to global warming), we should send that extra water to the moon!

What iago said.  This is hardly an engineering problem.

If they're smart (they ARE rocket scientists, so I assume they are), they'd shoot it backwards so that it didn't have enough speed to orbit.

I've heard there are tirds in orbit before too (though it could certainly be speculation or rumor from the source).  Smart people have done dumber things. :)

"Tirds" are turds that have been without oxygen for over a year.
