I think it's much more moral to cheat on a single player game. :P

Yeah, but cheating in multiplayer games is at least a little fun. "Wow, I beat my single-player game by cheating against a computer..."

I think cheating in single player games can be enormously fun.  Cheating in multiplayer games gets people extremely pissed off at you, or worse (in some situations), banned.

I've been playing through now, i dropped the thief and went with a hybrid battlemage class, its fucking terrible how much ownage I do. Necromancy ftw (even though its shunned in the game now).

Few glitches we've been across.

- NPC's that are to follow you in the game getting stuck thus not letting you talk to them (thankfully it was saved right before it happened) Did it twice grabbed the new class haven't had any issues.

- Unlimited gold thing haven't tried it out since I'm not sure if the NPC you kill to get lewt is needed later in the story line.

- Sound errors, if you're jumping off a high building the land sound is either way too early or way too late.

Other then that I've been having a blast playing / watching it (I share the game with my downstairs roommate while I go III)

Level 7 right now, could be a lot higher but i've been playing through quests (in IV) and don't really feel like finding mobs to keep casting, the main quest is cool but the side quests have some phenominal plot lines.

I'll keep it updated!

This game is simply amazing. No other words describe it.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

I absolutely hated Morrowind. It got boring as hell after 30 minutes or so.

I've been playing this on an XBox 360 (yay now I have to buy one when I return) and I've played it for a total of 9 hours or so over the last 2 days.

Level 6 barbarian and a level 1 Dragonslayer (yay for Slayer's old name!) (it's a mage assassin, essentially. it's a badass) so far. :)

GET THIS GAME. NOW!

Update: level 10 barbarian / level 2 mageblade (I remade him and took suggestions from a strategy guide I found, and took their name!)

10 hours so far on the level 10, and like, 40 minutes on the level 2.

The level 10 is grand champion of the arena, is a silencer on the Dark Brotherhood, a journeyman on the fighter's guild, and starting ranks for the Blades/Mage Guild.

Someone wanna point me to the Thieves Guild? I'm gonna complete that after I complete the Dark Brotherhood quests.

Blah! I beat the Dark Brotherhood. All I have to say is what a plot twisting mania that was. So much more fun than the Arena was. :)

Now onto the Thieves Guild! Thanks Myndy. I'll have it beat by tomorrow evening at the latest. I *did* start the Brotherhood last night and I have it beat by today afternoon... ;)

On a side note, where the fuck do I get ectoplasm? ("Drunk and Disorderly" quest requires 5 bushels of it.... and it's beginning to make me sad that I can't find it anyfuckingwhere.)

I'm taking a break, and my brother is playing. All of the "thief" classes he has made have sucked the fat one. :P

I'm trying to think of how I made mine.  I'm a wood elf, specc'd:
Skills:
Blade
Athletics
Security
Sneak
Marksman
Mercantile
Speechcraft

I think I took agility and personality as my primary attributes, and was born under the sign of the Thief, gaining more agility and speed.

Thus far I'm a really good melee combat class as well as a relatively good ranged combatant (Sneak gives me 3x damage bonus on ranged and 6x on melee at level 2).

Where is there a sign for Gray Fox, Newby?  I need to find one so I can talk to a fence.  I stole 3 bottles of some kind of brandy worth 79gp a piece, and I want to dump them off before a guard takes me down.

There are posters of the Grey Fox all over the Imperial District.

My specs: acrobatics, athletics, blade, destruction, illusion, light armor, sneak

My primary attributes: speed, willpower (focus on stealth)

The thing is a machine. :)

My barbarian = pre-built barb. I wish I did this character custom, it would be so much better than it is now. It's master of fighter's guild btw. :)

Ectoplasm is dropped from ghouls / ghosts

Yea the thieves guild is basically a few things, you can pick enough locks, talk to a bunch of peasants (remember to persuade/tip them it helps a lot)

Level 14 hybrid mage/assassin, I'm about 55% through the main quest line for the heir on a side note i havn't done a lot with the thieves / dark brotherhood. Thieves is really easy the only pain is finding a fence from time to time.

I'm only level 2, but I've joined the Dark Brotherhood and done a few quests, and I've gotten some really good armor/weapons from them! I've decided to play as an Assassin/Thief.

I got all the bonuses on every mission that offered 'em. They're so damn good in terms of item quality.

Hell, even the starting armor is my default armor now. The armor at the end gives more bonuses, but doesn't have the armor rating of the starting armor. :P

I was kicked out of the Mages guild because I accidentaly stole their horse when traveling to the Inn to kill Rufio  :'(. I haven't gotten back in yet.

The best Dark Brotherhood quest is when you get to kill every person at the party! I love setting them ablaze.

Haha, I got kicked out of the Mages Guild on a Thieves Guild mission.

You have to go to a tower to get some key that is an arrow, and the mage you have to get through (killing or not) is part of the Mages Guild. You're allowed to kill him, so eh?

Fuck the Mages Guild. It's a bunch of pussies. I'm the friggin' king of the Fighters Guild/Dark Brotherhood/Arena, I'll fuck them all up!

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

The people you go to have their own lives, so something might've came up. I remember reading somewhere that this guy was completing his quest, but suddenly, a fight broke out, and somehow the guards slaughtered everyone outside of the town. Sadly, the person he was supposed to go to was killed in the mayhem.  8)

Woot! I finished the Dark Brotherhood quest line! Got some really need stuff from it too! I'm currently doing the Thieves Guild quest 'Lost Histories' and I keep getting seen by the guard. Anyone have any ideas?  :P

<spoiler>

What really shocked me was reading Bellamont's journal. I mean seriously, reading through the pages. Whatever Bethesda developer wrote that was seriously fucked up. When you go to his cellar, you can see his mother's head...

Seeing Lucien Lachance dead surprised me though, I wasn't expecting that...

</spoiler>

I've decided to do Fighter's Guild/Arena quests to get my blade skill up. Once I have enough of both, I'm doing the Daedric Quest (of Clavicus Vile), to get that Umbra Sword!

Being a vampire sucks. I fast traveled from Anvil to Chorral, and I burned up in the sun.

It's very frustrating feeding once per night. I've drained gallons upon gallons of Puny Ancus' blood. I just restarted my game, and I'm pwning. I'm Arena Grand Champion and Dark Brotherhood Listener + Thieves Guild Burglar(think thats what its called, too lazy to check).

Burglar? Bleorg. I am 2nd away from top of Thieves Guild. :/

I already got Grand Champion, Gray Fox, and Listener.  ;)  Now I'm working on Fighter's Guild quests, which I find significantly less fun.  I'm also trying to get back into the Mages' Guild despite the fact that I have practically no spellcasting ability (I'm okay with Restoration, Illusion, and Mysticism, I think -- I'm over 25 on those trees), but I like the fact that I can enchant my own shit.  ;)

<spolier>
One thing about being Gray Fox -- it kicks ass that you get the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal.  Feather 200 pts on Self, Fortify Sneak (something like) 25, and Detect Life 100ft on Self.  However, whenever you wear it you automatically get a 500gold bounty that you can't pay off or go to jail for -- your only choice is to resist arrest (it's funny, the guys are like, "The Gray Fox?  You're under arrest for... for all kinds of stuff!  You're wanted dead or alive, and I prefer dead."  But it's great for dungeon runs and stuff.

For a REALLY funny time, visit Castle Anvil at about 9pm.  They should be eating dinner in the dining hall.  Go stand next to Hieronymus Lex and put on the Gray Cowl.  He'll try to arrest you, resist arrest, and quickly take off the Gray Cowl and yield.  He'll stop attacking you, but since the blacksmith is a member of the thieves guild, he'll try to defend you, and so the entire dinner will get into a fight.  You can kill the Count and Countess of Anvil (actually I think the NPCs kill the Count).  It's awesome.

Um, save before you do that, those people might be part of a quest line.  ;)

Woot! I finished both the main quest + Thieves Guild quests today! The last thieves guild quest is surely the longest/most difficult quest I've done. :)
