That's just the thing. There is no honors classes.

It's either AP US History, or college prep US history.

It's either AP Literature, or college prep literature.

AP Calculus, or AP statistics. There is no honors for either.

Spanish 7/8 College prep, or AP Spanish.

Physics college prep, or AP Biology/Chemistry/Physics.

AP Art History, or college prep Art History.

See how my shitty school works?

Ergot:
So... is it like slapping the "AP" part on then giving you the best teacher of the subject ;O ?

I contest that there most be non-AP AND non-college prep courses that fulfill the graduation requirements, like.. normal courses. If not, then your school is encouraging too many people to join AP classes, a clear indication that tey are not up to par with the level that should be expected of a college course.  That means you're really not getting any favors, chances are you will fail the exam due to lack of preparation, and all your work (if any) will be for naught.

Do you understand why I am telling you that it's not a good idea to take so many AP classes? Or even advanced classes that are easy?
