Pig Destroyer
Napalm Death
Carcass
Discharge
Bolt Thrower (first few albums)
Terrorizer

Are you trying to give iago's old stepman a workout or a heart attack?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Ok, what don't you guys understand about OLD PEOPLE MUSIC?

Sidoh, he hated Unearth.  I put it on there hoping it would be something appropriate, but it wasn't.

3.ACDC - Highway To Hell
4.Aerosmith - Sweet Emotion
5.Cheap Trick - I Want You To Want Me
6.Cher - Believe
7.Deep Purple - Highway Star
8.Gary Glitter - Rock and Roll
9.Rush - Fly By Night
10.Streetheart - Action
11.Survivor - Eye of the Tiger

1.Tom Cochraine - Life is a Highway
2.ACDC - Back In Black
3.ACDC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
4.ACDC - TNT
5.Black Sabbath - Iron Man
6.Bryan Adams - The Summer of '69
7.Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name
8.Metallica - Enter Sandman
9.Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train
10.Ozzy Osbourne - Paranoid
11.Peter Frampton - Do You Feel Like I Do

Heh, missed the part (initially) where it was for your stepdad.  You mean you didn't listen to it before you put it on?  I would've thought you'd heart hat song before anyway. ;)

Judging by that list, he might like Jethro Tull. My dad loves them, and they rock pretty hard. JAZZ FLUTE SOLO!!

Well, it was sort of a demo cd.  Pretty much, "Which of these song styles do you like?" to give me a better idea.  For like $.10/cd, I'm not worried about throwing one out.  I threw a second one out, too, when my laptop's battery died.  Oops :)

I'm sure I've heard the song, but I didn't specifically remember.

I'm guessing the screenwriters of American Pie do not fall into the "correctly" category?

Blue Man Group and The Chemical Brothers should suit your father's needs quite well.

Hah. I forgot Cryptic Slaughter. Fack.

I was kidding about the bands. Hitmen recommended Fuck I'm Dead, so I contributed the same way. :D

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

My stepdad wants me to make him a CD of workout music.  Anybody have suggestions of music with good beat/energy?  Specific artists or songs would be best.  Something that a 40+ person would listen to.

His first suggestions -- Life is a HIghway.

Any ideas?

Ok, something that has a shit load of energy, Fuck!... I'm Dead or Torsofuck..... ok just kidding ;) . Umm, what does your dad like to listen to in general ? Is he into classical rock, or what?

Yeah, classic rock and light rock.  But don't worry, I have enough for now.

Like you should tar+gzip those songs and email them to razorm@gmail.com iago! I have to put together a presentation with a target audience in the same age group.
