Well, my dad's friend said that the name was embarassing, and that he was tired of being the "butt" of so many jokes (ha!)

My buddy Mike's last name is Gay.  In fact, he just got married.

It was funny, his wife sent out invitations for her bachelorette party that said "Bekah is going GAY!  Come to her coming out party..."  :)
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

ROFL!!!!
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I noticed that one too.  :)

Of course Opera is written by a mister Gay.

It's funny.  Homosexuality is generally a degrated state in our society, to state the obvious. :)

Methinks rabbit totally missed the humor behind this. :p
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Neither!

I completely ignored most of the thread and the article, and then made an assumption based on the title.  Shame on me.

Haha, good point.  Regardless of the obvious blunders in the naming of children and applications, Opera is an amazing piece of software.
