Standard Testing
« on: April 17, 2006, 11:29:18 pm »
Starting tomorow, we have the yearly testing called the STAR testing. Its basically to say how the school is doing :P, all I care about is I go to school later, and get out at 12 :P. These tests should be easy though

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I FUCKING HATE YOU ALL!!

I go to school at 7:30 and get out on everyday besides Wed. at 2:38 and on Wed, at 2:00..

How gay.

Anyways, Standardize testing week is my favorite!!  Since I am a senior I don't have to take any of these tests so we get to sleep in!!(If your parents call you in).  It just finished and it was awesome.

F you. I was forced to do the life science part (we were supposed to do just English, but the teacher saw me sleeping with 45 minutes left to go, so he told me to do both parts of life science. :/)

In Wyoming, we used to have the test called the WYCAS, but because your scores on it didn't matter, no one tried.  Scores were progressively going down, so our school got creative and started offering rewards to people who did the best; I got $50 :D

But as a senior, I didn't have a single standardized test this year :D
errr... something like that...

While you asshole sophomores and juniors take the tests, I'm in a FORCED classroom with a bunch of idiotic TWITS (that I will have to take the tests with sophomore+junior year! FUCK MY SCHOOL UP THE ASS), and listen to music.
Which reminds me, I need to add Liege Lord to my iPod.  Both albums. :D

That's how it is most places. California schools are in trouble because they need to instill a sense of "these tests matter" into their students.. most frankly don't care.  If scores get low enough, the state will start the process of taking over the school, which really sucks I hear :p

A bunch of elementary/middle schools got taken over, IIRC, especially the more ghetto ones. Now they're cracking down on high schools, though.

Well the only one I know is Lick, anywho our school is aiming for 700 we need 26 points. I never understood how the points were calculated.

It's a percentage index/average, or something. Mine needs like 15 to reach their goal of 700+ or something. But that doesn't matter, since whatever the score it recieves, it doesn't really effect me. :p

True. But for us we get a pool party (as an incentive) if we reach 700 :D

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

WTF?? Your history teacher must suck really bad, since if it was the same one I had to take before, it should have been simple as hell.

I was in AP. We covered ~2000 years of history in 28 weeks. This test cover at TOPS, 200 years. We covered the ~200 years this went over in about 4 weeks. :/

Oh, I forgot you weren't taking the U.S. History exam. Yeah, the World History exam is a little more difficult, but shouldn't be really intense. I still have come to the conclusion that your teacher probably sucks.
