That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I don't understand why they haven't incorporated something like this into BOINC.  I suppose the bottleneck could be collecting the data in place of processing it, though.

What's BOINC?

Berkely Open Infrastructure for Network Computing.  It's what now powers SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) and a few other projects that require a massive amount of computations.

Oh, this was featured in this week's Science News as well.
