The buy Trust's stuff MEGATHREAD
« on: May 29, 2006, 06:54:34 pm »
I decided I want to get rid of my old TV (Samsung 22 inch (I think, maybe 20 inch) flatscreen btw if you want it) and buy a new one (LCD, wallmountable.) Well, I also am in the process of redoing my room in other aspects and there's other gadgets I want. Plus I have a girlfriend to support, and a bad habit of drinking Starbucks in the morning and eating Taco Bell before lacrosse practice. Case in Point: I don't have enough money to do everything, so I'm selling stuff!

I'm selling:

A Nintendo 64 and a PS2 (I have offers on both, so ask if you want to bid against the people.) However, the current offer on the PS2 leaves all but one game available for purchase.

The games are:
NARC
Madden 2001
007 Nightfire
007 Agent Under Fire
Sammy Sosa Softball Slam
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Missle Command
Elmo's Letter Adventure

I'd also like to get rid of some other stuff:

Computer Games:
Warcraft II
Warcraft III RoC
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
MAFIA
Clue
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
Majesty
Motocross Madness
Fast Food Tycoon
Sim City 2000
Diablo
Emergency Room: Life or Death
Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear (includes Mission Pack: Urban Operations)
Age of Empires
Battleship: Surface Thunder
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Navy Seals: Sea, Air, Land
Half Life: Platinum Collection

I also have the books:

the war over Iraq
Spin This (media spin book)
Power Talk (how to talk in an authorative way)
What do you know (book of facts)
The Old Man and the Sea
The Lord of the Flies
How the Garcia Girls lost their Accents
C++ How to Program
Getting Started with Microsoft Visual Basic.net
Foundations of Visual Basic 4
The Complete Reference: JSP
Java in Easy Steps
Destination Microsoft.NET
ASP.NET Unleashed
Day Trading Online

All of which I wouldn't mind getting rid of.

Also, my DVD rack in my room is almost full (room for 3 more DVDs) so I wouldn't mind getting rid of a few of the lesser watched ones:

ALI
Godzilla
The Iron Giant
Runaway Jury
Vanilla Sky
XMEN
You Got Served
Tears of the Sun

I also have an older set of speakers: two computer speakers and a subwoofer.

If you ditched the gf, you could keep all that stuff.

Nah. I'd still want the TV.

Gamesnake: Nah, eBay is risky because you have to pay to list everything plus the market for computer games and programming books isn't so great.

I'll charge you half of what eBay charges to list here. ;)

Go iago!

@Trust: How much for the speakers and subs?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Because they're cheaper than WoW, plus I think I'll be able to afford it.

Trust, you know my address, so go ahead and ship them (I'll pay you ASAP, once I know what S&H is, via paypal again). If you don't know my address, find out why the hell your AIM client has me blocked and then contact me.

Rule offered $10 for C++ HTP, I'm not sure if he's going to go through with the transaction.
I'd do JIES for like $5.

Make an offer. It's pretty much brand new, I think I watched it once. I'll take  a picture tonight. I have swim practice and lacrosse practice but I'll be home about 7:30EST.

OK, what games *with* the 64 then?  Don't be a 'tard, 'tard.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.
