United 93
« on: May 29, 2006, 11:25:19 pm »
I just saw it about 30 minutes ago.  This movie, if you didn't know, is about September 11th focusing primarily on flight 93.

For starters, the movie wasn't bad.  It had some real footage of the plane crashes into the World Trade Centers which kind of made the movie seem more real.  The actual story was kind of slow at first and picked up towards the very end.

United 93 was the only plane to not make it to its destination, which this movie made an attempt to show how that came to be.

I can't think of anything else to say about this movie that doesn't ruin it......  If you want to find out more, you can always go see it. :)
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Perhaps you get more 'action' than Newby (it's very doubtful that either of you have lost your virginity), however you obviously felt that it was necessary to include the fact that you "talk to girls" for a long time, long enough to not be able to go see a movie, thus having to brag about the fact that you do it often and make you seem cooler. Someone who gets alot of female interaction doesn't feel the necessity to go online and brag to other internet users. I'm sorry, but I concur with Newby in the mindset that you are indeed lying.

If I got fucked, you'd know about it. Trust me. ;)

He could get more action than me. Last year (we were freshmen) he got asked out by a varsity cheerleader and he turned her down.

That's why I laugh at him "talking to girls" so eh?

<warning: this post is off-topic in regard to the popular topic of the thread which ironically makes it on-topic>

Is the movie basically a documentary? I would like to see it at some point but if its a documentary I don't really see the point of shelling out the extra money to see it on a big screen.

No. It's a reinactment of what they think happened on United 93.

Documentaries usually contain a large portion of reenactments  :P

As long as its not a lot of voice over dialogue though...maybe I'll go see that this weekend.
