x86 + summer = gaming!
« on: June 10, 2006, 06:09:50 pm »
We should all pick a game we can play.

I elect Enemy Territory, since lots of us played that last year. And I don't care if I lose anymore. I've given up on life! :P

Rules are:

  • Game must work cross-platform (or at least run in wine/cedega well)
  • Game must be free
  • I must be able to run a server. (or some other member of x86 at the least.)

Let's see your picks.

EDIT -- We could play Neverwinter Nights (it's free if you're on Linux! ;)) but only if we can get at least 5-6 people. I don't care how easy the game gets. :p

EDIT2 -- For Enemy Territory, we can play TrueCombat mod OR Enemy Territory Fortress mod. :P

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

You might be right about that, Joe.

(Try reading or listening to my post next time.)

I'd be up for ET.  And no I didn't uninstall cause I care about HD space -- I had to reformat a while ago. ;)

Then technically you didn't uninstall it. It got removed when you uninstalled the OS. ;)

Free games eh, I'll have to test sea 3d to see if it works in wine.  It's a free version of Settlers of Catan, one of the best turn based strategy board games...ever.

Yea so I'm a strategy freak, wanna fight about it?

I'd probably play ET too

Sure it is!  We can play on an emulated server and get bored after 10 minutes because we're far too overpowered!

Imagine, solo'ing the Deadmines at level 60; only the best can do this right now.  That would be so awesome!!!
