The X-Fire I-Don't-Have-A-Life-Meter
« on: June 03, 2006, 10:00:31 pm »

Post how much you've wasted your life overall playing WoW, and games in general.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

I've logged over 600 hours on Pokemon Gold. I used to play it for almost full days during the summer(Yes I know I have no life). I've also logged over 200 hours Oblivion.

I've logged over 600 hours on Pokemon Gold.
I just want to know how.  That game didn't have that much to do in it.

Right now, the game I've played most is Phantasy Star Online Episode I & 2.  I have roughly 160 hours on one character and probably around 40 hours on my minor ones.
errr... something like that...

I probably log 15-30 hours of DotA a week depending on whether I have something else to do here.

Lately though I've been playing the new Heroes 5  5-10 hours a week + ~15 hours of DotA.

Computer playing time will be cut in half at least when the Fall Semester starts though.

You could do 600 hours fucking easily. Trying to catch all the Pokemon? That'd take forever. I got at least a good 200 hours back in 4th-5th grade.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Yeah, most of that time is spent catching pokemon. I've posted somewhere else that I have every single Pokemon in Gold :D.

I really wouldn't know; when I had like 50-60 hours logged on, I had like 200 of them, but my file was erased by my brother, and I didn't have the heart to start that massive quest again. Then again, I did transfer a lot of them from my blue version. All I can remember, though, is that the legendary dogs were the biggest pain in the ass to catch, though.

The monster game I did log 100s of hours into, though, was Dragon Warrior Monsters.  That game was so badass when I played it.

I had every Pokemon in Gold and Blue. I remember I had 149 and my friend busted out his Red copy and caught a bull (I fainly remember a name, started with a 'T' iirc) in the Safari Zone, and made me pay him $5 for it. :(

I was lucky and caught two legendary dogs in 10 minutes. I then traded the third from Crystal(it's part of a main quest in Crystal). And if you have all the Pokemon in Gold, you all the Pokemon in R/B/Y/S/C too, so theres no point in catching them for the other versions :P.

Added 20 hours to my FFX clock.  I only have to catch the rest of the monsters from 3 more regions, then I can start statmaxing and I can fight Penance (Nemesis).
