I had to take a written test for mine.  It was basically things like rules of the road, road signs, turn signals, etc.
errr... something like that...

What dark_drake said. You have to know what red yellow and green mean (warning, caution, go) the turn signals for left right and slow down / stop, the road lines for no passing zone. Basically the stuff you picked up on around age 7.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I don't think I had to take on in Colorado.  I've had my learner's permit for three years. :D!

You need your permit validated with a behind-the-wheel before you can legally do that fucker!

In Colorado, you have to have 50 hours of driving time.  I'm pretty sure I have that by now, but I don't have the motivation to take the test.

We have to take a test (it's on a computer..but it'd be equivilant to a written test) that deals with signs (you have to get all signs...if you miss one you fail) and rules of the road (speed in residential areas, etc.) Alot of people fail it, I got one wrong (I said you should go 20 in residential instead of 25)

Mine was 50 questions, only needed to get 40 and a valid permit you get.

I took the test earlier this year, but my guy didn't speak English.  All he could say were a couple vowels and "D" and "S", so all I got outta him was stuff like "DURR AHH YAHH DAHH SAHHNAHH", which I think was "Turn on your turn signal", but who the hell knows?  I woulda passed, but I hit the cones...

Age 15.5: get provisional license.  can drive w/only one non-family member, cant drive between 12 & 6 am.

Yeah, and if you hopped with a blood alcohol level of 1 or more, you weren't drunk enough and they arrested you for that.

You're an immigrant Nazi supporting annoying retard. NOW it all makes sense.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
