I r wanna join!
« on: February 12, 2005, 08:26:42 pm »
Hi. I'm Joe. Deadly hates me. iago thinks funny (or his responces to my no-pointed IM's seem to say that), and Newby thinks I'm a newb. Warrior[x86] is a good friend of mine, and we're co-leaders of the Clan e2. So can I join?! ^.^
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

You need to get 2 leader's approval first. Since you didn't even think of mentioning me, I say no. To get a vote on you, first read the rules, then talk to Mythix and iago.

Bribing members is encouraged.  Tmp sent me a router to join vL, and still never did.  (ok that's a lie, he wanted to join vL and sent me a router, they were unrelated)

And Mythix -- I listened to your reasons, I didn't agree with them :P

As for bumping threads, I don't know why its displaying all the old topics at the beginning of the forum. As soon as I find out there'll be no more bumping from me.

iago interviewed me on AIM.

Quote
JoE ThE oDD: If the King is unable to fulfil his duty, and cannot appoint a successor (dead or imprisoned or otherwise)
JoE ThE oDD: Its kinda funny that some x86 members are actually getting close to that.. lol
iago[x86]: Yeah, if we kill Newby..
iago[x86]: haha yeah
iago[x86]: Retarded people
JoE ThE oDD: Nono not dead, but imprisoned
JoE ThE oDD: :P
JoE ThE oDD: I've never been to court. I'm glad.
JoE ThE oDD: :)
iago[x86]: Haha, I was about to ask that
iago[x86]: Well sorry, you don't fit in to x86
JoE ThE oDD: Haha
iago[x86]: Go commit a crime
iago[x86]: Then try again
JoE ThE oDD: I've been truant (or however the fuck you spell it) before.
iago[x86]: I should interview you for x86
iago[x86]: Describe your life outside your computer?
iago[x86]: (Correct answer, "Life?")
JoE ThE oDD: Haha. I have a girlfriend named Katy who I see every Wednesday night. Other than that, I sit on my computer, go to school (and sleep), or just plain sleep.
iago[x86]: haha, cool
iago[x86]: And what's this about being AWOL?
JoE ThE oDD: What does AWOL stand for? :P
iago[x86]: Absent Without (Official) Leave
iago[x86]: sometimes just Absent WithOut Leave
JoE ThE oDD: Ah. I was tired.
iago[x86]: haha
iago[x86]: so you mean you skipped school once?
JoE ThE oDD: Well, for an hour. After that the cops came and got me.
iago[x86]: Cops?
JoE ThE oDD: Police officers. Doughnut eaters. Native shooters.
iago[x86]: Natives suck
iago[x86]: But back to the point
iago[x86]: Why'd the cops come and get you?
JoE ThE oDD: My dad wasn't happy with me sleeping when I should be in math class.
iago[x86]: So he got the cops to take you there?
JoE ThE oDD: Yup. Pretty easy in the US, eh?
iago[x86]: That's amazing
iago[x86]: Ok, you've been taken away by police (hahaha), so you'll fit in
iago[x86]: taken, I guess, not taken away
JoE ThE oDD: :)
iago[x86]: Question 2!
 Are you white? Jewish? Welsh?
JoE ThE oDD: White. Christian. (Newby, if you're reading this interview log, HI!).
iago[x86]: Nah, this is totally unofficial
iago[x86]: Ok, third question which you already answered:
JoE ThE oDD: 50% German, 25% French, 25% Italian, if anyone cares.
JoE ThE oDD: :)
iago[x86]: What's your religion? Christian? Jew? VB?
iago[x86]: 25% French? GET OUT!
JoE ThE oDD: 50% German. Hug me. I could be reated to Hitler.
iago[x86]: 25% french, go away, you could be related to me :(
iago[x86]: (I'm 25% french)
JoE ThE oDD: Cool!
JoE ThE oDD: Ron, you're my long lost brother!
iago[x86]: eww
iago[x86]: I'm also 25% swedish
iago[x86]: And the rest is like British
iago[x86]: unsure exactly where
JoE ThE oDD: I'm not Swedish or British. :)
iago[x86]: Sucks to be you
iago[x86]: Ok, hmm
iago[x86]: Next question: (ready?)
JoE ThE oDD: But I'm Irish. Kiss me, I'm Irish. (But don't, because I'm also straight.)
JoE ThE oDD: (Yes.)
iago[x86]: ok, question the next:
 Which question are we on?
JoE ThE oDD: Four.
iago[x86]: ok
iago[x86]: 4. .. I'm out of ideas
iago[x86]: Test yourself
JoE ThE oDD: Hrm..
JoE ThE oDD: Who's George Bush?
JoE ThE oDD: One shitty leader.
JoE ThE oDD: :)
JoE ThE oDD: k am i in? lol
iago[x86]: haha
iago[x86]: ooh!
iago[x86]: 5. Where do you live?
JoE ThE oDD: Reedsburg, Wisconsin, 53959, USA, North America, Earth, Milky Way
JoE ThE oDD: Would you like driving directions?
iago[x86]: 6. Where's Wisconsin?
JoE ThE oDD: Right under lake superior, which is near Toronto.
iago[x86]: ok
iago[x86]: ooh
iago[x86]: Isn't that where Stealth lives?
JoE ThE oDD: Yup.
iago[x86]: Aha
JoE ThE oDD: He lives about an hour away from me, in Madison.
iago[x86]: How far is that from Ottawa?
JoE ThE oDD: Hrm.. iono.
JoE ThE oDD: If I hopped in my car right now and drove straight north towards canada
iago[x86]: FAILED
JoE ThE oDD: I'd get arrested.
iago[x86]: THEN you could join!
JoE ThE oDD: Haha
iago[x86]: Ottawa is on the border of Ontario and Quebec
iago[x86]: I might be living there for the summer
JoE ThE oDD: I see..
JoE ThE oDD: Uh, that doesn't help any..
JoE ThE oDD: lol
iago[x86]: Nope, but eh
iago[x86]: Hmm
..and then it goes on to a conversation about HTML tabbing and Bosnia.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Hrm I was going to say I'm glad I was grandfathered in, but I suppose that I've been to court for a traffic ticket.  *shrug*

EDIT:
Now, to show you guys what a leet programmer I am, a few projects I've tossed together over random 10-minute periods.
This is not a programming clan.

By the way I get really vicious in this post.  If you can't handle it I suggest you skip it.  But it's because you callxd yourself a leet programmer.

VB RCRS Functions
http://ix86.cold-chaos.net/forum/index.php?topic=627.0
Ooooh, you put together the workings of a text protocol in VB.  Look at my awe.  Ooooh.

HTML CleanSlateBot
http://forum.valhallalegends.com/phpbbs/index.php?topic=10477.0
You didn't actually make a CSB in HTML.  You used the pre-made CSB component to make an HTML page that would only work in Internet Explorer running on your local machine (unless you're a real moron and have your ActiveX settings open to download random shit from the internet).
On top of that you were too stupid to figure out how to Google for events in VBScript, I had to hold your hand and show you where it goes.

Packet Parsing Class (RemoveDWORD and such functions, like iagos Buffer.java)
http://www.quikness.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=229
This isn't the first of its kind written in VB, and the first one was actually based on my IncomingPacketStream.cs class (or was it the IIncomingStream interface?  meh)

Add-Chat procedure, with commenting like mad hell
http://www.quikness.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=216
So you've taken someone else's work and commented on it.  See my reply to the VB RCRS implementation.

Long-ass explination of each part of BNLS_0x0B (BNLS_HASHDATA)
http://www.quikness.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=225
Your long-ass "explination(sic)" has several errors.  First:
Quote
This means you need to take the length of the Data Void, and insert it as a long. Len() returns an Integer, but thats OK. If you use an integer where you should use a long, you will have it automatically changed to a long.
First of all, "Void" in the BNLS specification specifies untyped, unsized data.  The most accurate description you could use in place of "void" (which means nothing) is "buffer."  By the way, as your first paragraph, it suchs.  You don't even specify what it is that means what you say -- you just say "this means...."
Quote
Then, you need to insert the data you want hashed as a Void. For this packet, the Void in a NON null terminated string. This is the data we want hashed.
Actually when you're using this packet to hash CD keys or strings, I include the null terminator, and the length should include the null terminator.

Some Botnet packet sending subs -- Never Finished
http://www.quikness.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=185
Never finished -- need I say more?

Packet Buffer -- Modification of DM's. Includes all BNET-Related headers, plus raw data (No header) I just fixed a ton of stupid shit in this.
http://www.quikness.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=144
See the replies about it on that forum and then see my reply about RCRS.

I don't think he was serious about being "a leet programmer", and he wasn't trying to show any earth shattering work.  That being said, there's just one comment I'd make:

I was indeed not serious. I am a programmer, but a leet one? Many could claim not.

The exact reason I did it.

After reading your comments on my work, I must say that those were just the few things I slopped together in 5-15 minutes, as I said. Thats not my best work. Also, the AddChat, although based on Grok's idea, was written entirely by me.

Something tells me that nobody has made a tabbed bot in Visual Basic because, simply put, nobody else has.

(Yes, I am calling the majority of VB coders that code Battle.net bots "leechers"!)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

All of my bots are tabbed, with the exception of the long-forgotten JoeBot 1.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

When was JBBot released?  Tabbed profiling was supported since Alpha 3 some time ago.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

I started working on JBBot a little over a year ago.  Last January, give or take.

Oops. I misunderstood that post newby. I thought you were refering to properly tabbed code. If you really want a tabbed bot in VB, I'll make one sometime eventually.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You need 2/3.

If you got iago's and Mythix's, you don't necessarily need Quik's. :P

He certainly don't have Mythix's.  It's all up to Quik, and Quik takes a long time to come to a decision.  But when he does, it's a good one!

(22:49:15) iago2: I would have just made it "Security"
(22:49:20) iago2: and put it all in that one :/
(22:49:32) iago2: Or maybe make Microsoft/Linux/Apple subboards, if anything
(22:49:36) Quik: naw, that would look lame with one forum in the category
(22:49:59) iago2: Then stick it in general!
(22:50:19) Quik: no!
(22:50:22) iago2: fine!
(22:50:30) iago2: you're so sexy when you make a decision
(22:50:42) Quik: stop coming onto lme
(22:50:44) iago2: haha
