I use one hand except when using my sidekick 2, that's too bulky.

I type texts considerably faster when using both hands, much like I do when I'm typing with two hands on a PC keyboard.  It's more than double the speed.

Incidentally, I've been using the Peter Gunn Theme from Blues Brothers as my ringtone.  I also have Imperial March, Flood (by Jars of Clay), Pressing On (by Reliant K), Arman Katchuturian's Sabre Dance by Empire Brass, Will Not Fade by Audio Adrenaline, and End of the World by dc Talk.

Me too, and I normally don't look at my phone while texting, I just make sure that it's what it should be when I'm done typing.

That sound drives me nuts.  I can hear all kinds of other white-noise that nobody else in my family can hear (my sisters heard some of it when they were younger, though).  It's annoying.
