I suppose they technically are, but they do leave you wishing.  Example: They have these funky ducts and monster heat sinks on the cpu with usually one big fan at the end of the duct.  The only other fan(s) on the machine is/are usually the PSU and sometimes the Graphics card.  I suppose it not a big deal, just less than ideal since it restricts your ability to customize/mod the machine.

Yeah, as these two have already mentioned, I don't recommend pivoting your entire purchace around the existance of 64 bit processors.  Incidentally, the last time I checked, Intel's 64 bit processors sucked.

Get a Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading.  Get a Pentium 4, with HyperThreading.  P4, HT.

This is what I told you yesterday.  I didn't say dual-core hadn't gone mainstream, I said the Intel Core Duo hadn't gone mainstream.  I also said that 64 bit wasn't yet mainstream.
