I'm not sure about Canada, but in the United States big bussiness and capitalism go hand-in-hand.
Not as much as they used to. If you don't believe me, read The Jungle.
I'm not sure whether or not that's the source, but some of my friends were talking about a pure-capitalism society. No copyright laws or trademarks, and if you can afford to you can have somebody killed. Of course, if you have people killed, then others will probably have you killed. It sounded like an interesting concept.
But my point is, America is not a true capitalist (big "bussiness") country, just like Russia was never truly communist.
