Hrm. I get hosting for $5.50 a month (paid annually), but incidentally, would renting a server be pretty much the same as buying hosting on a monthly basis? ??? :o

I think the difference is in whether or not you get your "own" server (or if it's shared with others). That what it seems to me, anyways.
