That means the other half will? As opposed to now, when ALL the people you hang out with toke up?

No.  It means that, unlike now, few of my friends will smoke pot.  In high school, half of them did.

Right, so HALF of the people you hang with DON'T, so the other half of the people you hang out with are stoners.

... GameSnake... seriously.  Either learn to think things through or just shut up.

I've been through high school without touching the stuff.  I suspect it'll be easier to avoid in college where half of the people I hang out with "don't" do it regularly.

I'm saying IN COLLEGE half of the people I will hang out with WON'T smoke pot.  Ugh.

That means the other half will? As opposed to now, when ALL the people you hang out with toke up?

Smoke pot.
I'd never do that.

Or so you think.
Or so I know**

My morals and beliefs are strong.  I don't have any worry or temptation to try it.

That is exactly what I thought, but I ended up doing it.

I've smoked pot/weed a few times, but I've smoked cigarettes for a long time. But, I've stopped. Even now, I get urges once in a while to smoke. It was during my  "low" period with God.

smoking, meh...exspensive seeming, especially when you trade up to more potent drugs.

Stick with booze ;) ... more fun & more social.

I woulnd't pat anyone on the back for wasting money on a simple high.

What was cool about that is Mark didn't charge me, but he charged everyone else.

Pwned! noobs.

But yes, smoking sucks. It's useless and expensive.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Hrmm..  Agreed with Sidoh.

I have been tempted a lot to do weed by people I know, and I have not given in to temptation.  I am not too worried about it.  If you say your morals were really that strong, why did you do it?  It seems that you are contradicting yourself when you say that.  How can you have strong morals, but at the same time do something you are against?  Wouldn’t that mean you don’t really know yourself and when you say you have these "strong morals” when you really don’t?  I have been faced with this, and I have overcome it.  That’s how I know I have strong morals.

Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Hrm. Honestly, I feel everyone should try pot before having an opinion on it.  :) Btw, tried it once or twice, don't smoke anymore. Okay, I lied, I used to smoke everyday, but atleast I don't anymore.  :) On a side note, drugs are expensive and lame.

I think he is saying he did it when he didn't have a close relationship with God, and in turn, didn't have strong morals.

I doubt you've tried cutting yourself and I really doubt that you've tried suicide, but I'm pretty sure you have strong oppinions on both of the actions. :P

I am in a very low period right now with God, but my morals are as strong as ever.  I don't make morals to make God happy, I make them in my best interest.  Now, I can see where that could play a part in someones life and make him start smoking, but I still doubt the strength of his morals.

Our morals are not the same. Sure, ours would be about the same if we were both Christian, but, like I said previously, I did it when during my low period. Clearly, morals weren't something I abided by during my low period. However, once I had a close relationship, I stopped.

And, don't question my morals without first finding out about my life/situation.
