The leaves seen through my window pane
Remind me that it's time to move my life again
November sun is felt by none
A chilly breeze has blown my thoughts to what's to come
A cup of warm coffee, some vitamin C
A bowl for the cat, a bowl for the dog, a bowl for me
Ain't Life Grand?

Quote
My eyes are open wide
And by the way, I made it
Through the day
I watched the world outside
By the way, I'm leaving out
Today

Well, I just saw hailey's
Comet shooting
Said why you always running
In place?
Even the man in the
Moon disappears
Somewhere in the
Stratosphere
My music choice has been in limbo for a while now. It has swung from metal to country (yes, I admit it), but none of it was particularly good listening. It was just something to have going in the background that was tolerable. However, I was scrolling through my iPod, and found Shinedown on there, and started listening to them again. The lyrics are above are from their song: Your Second Chance.
If you ever want to try out some songs from the Indie or Alternative genres you're more than welcome to contact me on AIM and I will send you some songs.  I have a lot more genres than just those two, but those are the most prominent in my iTunes library.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Lock eyes
From across the room
Down my drink while the rhythms boom
Take your hand and skip the names
No need here for the silly games
Make our way through the smoke and crowd
The club is the sky and I'm on your cloud
Move in close as the lasers fly
Our bodies touch and the angels cry
Leave this place and go back to yours
Our lips first touch outside your door
The whole night what we've got in store
Whisper in my ear that you want some more
And I JIZZ IN MY PANTS
This rarely ever happens you can take my word
I want to apologize that's just absurd
The men we all fall for the way that you're dancin'
And now I JIZZ IN MY PANTS
Don't tell your friends or I'll say you're a slut
Plus it was your fault you were rubbin' my butt.
I'm very sensitive some would say that's a plus
Now I'll go home and change

Quote
I need a few things from the grocery
Doing things alone now mostly
Left me heartbroken, not lookin' for love
Surprise in my eyes when I looked above
The checkout counter and I saw her face
My heart stood still, so did time and space
Never thought that I could feel real again
But the look on her eyes said "I need a friend"
She turned to me -- that's when she said it
Looked me dead in the face asked "cash or credit"
And I JIZZED IN MY PANTS
It's perfectly normal nothing wrong with me
but we're going to need a cleanup on isle 3
and now I posed in an awkward pose because
I JIZZED IN MY PANTS
To be fair you were flirting a lot
Plus the way you bag cans got me bothered and hot
Please stop acting like you're not impressed
One more thing I'll pay by check

Quote
Last week I saw a film
As I recall it was a horror flim
Walked outside into the rain
Checked my phone and saw you rang
And I JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
Speeding down the street when the red lights flash
Need to get away need to make a dash
A song comes on that reminds me of you
and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
The next day my alarm goes off
and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
Open my window and a breeze rolls in
JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
When Bruce Willis was dead at the end of Sixth Sense
I JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
I just ate a grape and I
JIZZED IN MY PANTS

Quote
I jizz right in my pants every time you're next to me
And when we're holdin' hands it's like having sex to me
You say I'm premature I just call it ecstasy
I wear a rubber at all times it's a necessity

cuz I JIZZ IN MY PANTS
yes I JIZZ IN MY PANTS

I fell in love again
all things go, all things go
drove to Chicago
all things know, all things know
we sold our clothes to the state
I don't mind, I don't mind
I made a lot of mistakes
in my mind, in my mind

you came to take us
all things go, all things go
to recreate us
all things grow, all things grow
we had our mindset
all things know, all things know
you had to find it
all things go, all things go

I drove to New York
in a van, with my friend
we slept in parking lots
I don't mind, I don't mind
I was in love with the place
in my mind, in my mind
I made a lot of mistakes
in my mind, in my mind

you came to take us
all things go, all things go
to recreate us
all things grow, all things grow
we had our mindset
all things know, all things know
you had to find it
all things go, all things go

if I was crying
in the van, with my friend
it was for freedom
from myself and from the land
I made a lot of mistakes

I made a lot of mistakes

The writ of the founders must endure.

"I've come to bring the truth,
To every cat that wants to listen,
To hear my words glisten,
With perfection, no correction,
Purely action, one man faction,
Bringin' it hard like an erection,
Bringin' anarchy, fuck the election,
Restorin' harmony, forget inaction,
Pourin' peroxide on societal wounds,
Lyrical genocide on social infection,
Stupidity extinction, erasing the fiction,
Turnin' friction, into a fire,
You tire as I ascend higher,
Give the banking mafia power,
And your situation is dire,
Their intentions are sour,
But when it comes to fight,
All they do is cower,
Let peace and harmony bloom,
Like a flower, knowledge supreme,
Reigning over like a tower,
Thousand petal lotus,
Don't let ignorance erode us,
Our government looked at money,
And subsequently sold us,
Why trust them, why let them lie,
And from that lie, fanatically,
Enthusiastically, sporadically,
Letting your brothers and sisters die?
In your eye, this ideal is a stye,
It will grow to blind you,
And soon, you won't find yourself,
You'll be lost, cuz you got crossed,
You got bossed, flipped and tossed,
Mixed up like sauce, and then flossed,
Between the gnashing teeth of the elite,
Rip up your tax sheet,
Tell them to take a seat,
And to listen to the words,
Which fly like birds, to the next adaptation,
Looking for restoration, relaxation,
From this burden, this burnin',
From the inside of the mind,
Evolve to resolve the problem,
This beast, this insanity, this twisting,
Of the concept of freedom, gather and,
Lead 'em, out the door of the whitehouse,
Or give them a flight out the house,
No more taxes, no more war,
No more IRS or DEA knockin' down your door,
No more dirty cop makin' you hit the floor,
No more pointless laws, no more money claws,
No more of the state deciding your fate,
But go the other way, the mutiny of piety,
Then fuck your society..."

Artist: Vile
Song: Fuck Your Society

I like "Full Moon" from the Twilight soundtrack. Very un-soundtrack-ish though. Is all their music in that style?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Yeah, the Twilight soundtrack is actually very good, and this song just made it all the better.

I don't really know what you mean by un-soundtrack-ish, perhaps you mean that it isn't a typical sound you'd hear on most soundtracks?  If that's the case then I suppose you could say that.  I personally think each and every single one of The Black Ghosts' songs sound rather unique and that's why I love their music so much; however, Full Moon is probably, in my opinion, the most unique.  If you wonder what they sound like you could always check them out on last.fm or something.

Oh, love is shaped like cities burning,
Soot and ash is stretched between
The sea and sky; these lonely islands
Kiss the buildings, black and silent.
Here my eyes look towards the brightest
Point of light, like some great sign.
And know the love--
I was reminded of the time I almost died.
But do remind you close your eyelids,
See the fine good colors that are left behind
Like flaming fingers tracing lines.
Oh, love is shaped like cities burning,
Sifting through the ashes after.
We will find your life in laughter,
Oh, the black and breathing rapture.
Artist: Le Loup
Song: Breathing Rapture

Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;

I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life.
Let's make some music, make some money, find some models for wives.
I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and fuck with the stars.
You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars.

This is our decision, to live fast and die young.
We've got the vision, now let's have some fun.
Yeah, it's overwhelming, but what else can we do.
Get jobs in offices, and wake up for the morning commute.

Forget about our mothers and our friends
We're fated to pretend
To pretend
We're fated to pretend
To pretend

I'll miss the playgrounds and the animals and digging up worms
I'll miss the comfort of my mother and the weight of the world
I'll miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog and my home
Yeah, I'll miss the boredom and the freedom and the time spent alone.

There's really nothing, nothing we can do
Love must be forgotten, life can always start up anew.
The models will have children, we'll get a divorce
We'll find some more models, everything must run it's course.

We'll choke on our vomit and that will be the end
We were fated to pretend
To pretend
We're fated to pretend
To pretend
Artist: MGMT
Song: Time to Pretend
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.
