IRC Channel!
« on: July 31, 2006, 04:17:19 pm »
TehNet has risen from the dead, and so has our channel!

Server: irc.tehnet.org
Port: 6667
Channel: #x86
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

GL getting that channel to work. I worked my ass off for success, and it just died alongside amee who died later.

On a side note, how popular is the ircd?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

j is me, and I suppose my brother did something funky with the internet at home making me be j_. Right now I'm at Tory's house so I can't check.

The server isn't that popular right now, but all the old channels are back. darkxir jacked #chat, pissing me off, but eh?

Define "getting it to work", Newby? I created the channel and all, and have chanop on it and stuff. If anyone in x86 wants to be on the AOP, register your nick and drop me a PM or a /msg on IRC.

By default, your client adds _ after your name if your default name is taken.  So it could be that you got disconnected/reconnected and it grabbed "j_"

Isn't popular? I doubt it'll ever come back the way it used to be. When #x86 used to have 20+ people in it. :/

"getting it to work" = getting the channel like that.

I'm not worried about it. If someone wants in the channel, they're free to come in, and if someone doesn't know about the channel, it's their own fault for not reading the forums. If you'd like AOP, let me know, and you're totally allowed to advertise or whatever.

Me and Newby ruled that IRCd, it'll never be the same.  :P
