Nurfed is the best set of baseline functionality mods for WoW, IMO.  There are a few others that are a lot more robust (Discord), but they're a lot harder to set up.

What you see in the screenshot is Discord. It is a pain to set up, but I personally found it worth it. It's not for everyone, though. What's right for you is right for you.

I use a combination of Cosmos and CTMod, along with some random addons. Most of Cosmos is disabled, and around half of CTMod is disabled. I'd go ahead and ZIP up what I use and upload it to my FTP, but I doubt anyone else could tollerate it, seeing as how it was truely custom built for me.

Haha. Mine's custom built. Took me around an hour to set up, because I did a lot of rearranging before I decided how I wanted it. Then switching all your keybindings and making sure everything's lined up right.. It's a pain in the arse.

I currently use just 5 mods though, now that I could. CTMod mainly for mining and moving stuff around, Discord Action Bars for.. well, my atrocious number of bars (I'm just about to add in a few more, too), ZHunter for it's random widgets, and a different experience bar because I accidently deleted mine while messing with DAB. It is nice, though, because now that I'm 60, it tracks both my most recent rep bar, and my PvP rank. And, I use Titan Bar, mainly for Rider and so I can complain about how crappy my FPS are.

I always change my keybindings.  I pretty much become a new player to WoW (judging by reaction time) if I don't have them bound the way I'm used to.  The default key configuration is terrible.  You're dancing all over the keyboard casting your spells when you could just bind them to a more centeralized area and spread the ones you don't need to use in an important situation (IE Character Pane).

This is the list of mods I use.  Obviously, some of them come with the game (Blizzard_*), but other than that, they're ones I individually downloaded off of curse.

I would recommend Nurfed HUD for any class.  It's an awesome mod.
