I'm not too sure, seeing as how it's AC, but wouldn't you need both cables to be touching it?

PS: I've been electocuted before. It makes your finger feel funny (ironically, not burned, just numb-ish) for a few minutes and that's pretty much it.

Either that or my power system does not suck and the breakers are sensitive enough to stop before I die.

Also, after looking the word up, I wasn't electocuted, as I didn't die. I meant to say I've been shocked.

AC works by going one way, and then going the other way. One of those ways is INTO the key and then INTO your body.

Years ago, I went down to my basement to grab something. Well, it was night, and I was looking for the light switch. While running my hand along the wall, I slipped my hand into where the power tied in with the switch (the cover of the switch is off). My hand was numb for like five minutes after that. I haven't done it since.
