Just curious, why do you think marijuana is illegal? (directed towards everyone that reads this)
Incidentally, it may very well be (which I think you're implying) that the laws against marijuana are unjust.  If that's the case, then there are proper ways to go about getting that changed.  Breaking the law and making yourself a criminal pretty much assures that you won't be in a position to change the world, so anybody who's really against the law should pursue a proper avenue of getting it changed without breaking it.

In the case of alcohol prohibition, blatantly disregarding the law was fairly effective.

Just because GameSnake's a dumb shit, doesn't mean every one else on earth that's done drugs before is an idiot.

You're right.  It just happens to be that people who do drugs are idiots.  It might just be when they're doing them, but man, they fuck people up.

Not a very good generalization at all.  What are you referring to as drugs?  Also, although I certainly wouldn't encourage using it, many of the smartest mathematicians and physicists of the 20th/21st century (e.g. the smartest people on the planet) were LSD users.  And yes, even while they were using they were quite bright.

There are also so many geniuses who became alcoholic geniuses.  Most highly intelligent people are extremely sensitive to various things that make it very difficult for them to cope with their reality -- so they resort to chemicals (like alcohol) as an escape.  While drinking isn't good for your intelligence, I think in many cases smart people are more likely to develop serious dependencies than most others; therefore I couldn't agree less with the claim "it just happens that people who do drugs are idiots," as it seems the opposite may be true in a good portion of cases!

Martin Luther King Jr disagrees. :)
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Haha yeah, that was an unfortunate encouragement.  Perhaps that only works for new laws?

Martin Luther King Jr disagrees. :)
And where's he?  Dead.  Me: 1 Him: 0.

But seriously, wasn't he a proponent of civil rights and such?  How do you disobey civil rights laws?  I think that there's a big difference between breaking the laws that you are trying to fix/abolish and general civil disobedience.

Fuck it all.  America is based on trying to make a "more perfect union".  Our (un-iago and un-Blaze's, though) whole country is based on a grammatical error.  NARG!

How would you fix the grammar?  A "perfecter union"?  Having a "more perfect union" is acceptable, unless the context around it is different.

Take out "more".  Or change "more perfect" to "better".

Do idiots do drugs?
Or do drugs make people idiots?

Both?

Believe it or not, but like I said in the post, I'm just curious. Still haven't gotten a good response though. :(

Because, statistically, it's a gateway drug.  I'm sure you've heard that argument before, but I think it's a very good reason.  I'd be interested to see how the numbers of "hardcore" drug users in somewhere where Marijuana is legal compare to the same statistic in the US.

Lofuckingl.

Metal: I don't know about you, but the fact that the law states marijuana is illegal leads me to believe that marijuana is indeed illegal. Nothing you can argue against that. ::)

The law would be why it is illegal.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Look they should allow the use of drugs but only in certain areas and hopefully all the stoners will die and we will no longer have idiots! Good plan?
