Rob Zombie's "A House of a 1000 Corpses"
« on: August 22, 2006, 01:37:20 pm »
This movie is one of my all-time favorites. It's so brilliant and morbid.

Let me say a some quotes... just to make this fun for me.

"I bet you'd stick your head in the fire if I told you you'd see hell, mean while you're too stupid to realise you have a demon sticking outta your ass saying 'Holy miss moly, got me a live one!'"

"Dr. Satan! Dr. Satan!"

"Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!"

"Shoo, shoo said the fair maiden!"

Wow, that movie is great. Well, what can I say?

I apsolutely love gore!

Yeah -- and the scary part is, they apparently toned down a lot of the scenes while making it for Universal.  And Universal STILL wouldn't release it!

I know! Isn't it brilliant? And I believe that Devil's Rejects was excellent too!

"Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees, look at these!"

"Tooty fucking fruity!"

God House of 1000 Corpses is impossible to find!

I bought The Devil's Rejects, and planned on watching both in a night.  I went to about 8 different stores here, and not a single one had House of 1000 Corpses.  I ended up ordering it online, so now I can't watch it until next week :(

So have I, I'm pretty sure.  But not when I wanted to buy it!

Anyways, I got it, watched it, and enjoyed it.  Then I watched The Devil's Rejects.  The Devil's Rejects was just insane.  The biggest part about it is you don't know who to like -- the main characters are the bad guys (Baby, Odus, and Captain Spaulding), and the cop trying to catch them is also a bad guy, in a way.  Nobody is really "good".

I really enjoyed it, in a sick and perverse kind of way.  I hope Zombie makes another movie some day, he's fantastic.

Did you see my post from 2 weeks ago where I said, "I got it and watched it"?

Anyways, I wanted the movie for real, not pirated.

Saw this on DirecTV a few days ago. I absolutely loved the movie.

This guy is a fucking genius, one of the few horror films that keep me interested.
I LOVE the ending..

"I need to see a doctor."
"Don't worry..we'll take you to a doctor.."
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
