Football!
« on: September 08, 2006, 11:31:06 pm »
To all who don't know (everyone), I un-quit football as a manager, under new conditions. I explained that I could simply not make it to practice because if I came it would be irregular and I'd probably end up having to leave during important stuff and cause havoc. Coach accepted this and I'm on the team, games only. So basically, this post chronicles those games.

Game 1: Who knows?
Game 2: Who knows?
Game 3: Baraboo vs Monona Grove, Home, Loss, 12 - 38.
Game 4: Baraboo vs Reedsburg, Away, Upcoming [Their homecoming]

We put up a great fight but got totally annihilated tonight. Of course, we still won in my book because Monona Grove is the #4 (I've also heard #1, so eh?) team in our conference (read: not division, conference) and we were the first to score against them at all all season.

Anyhow, reply, whatever. I don't care really. :)

Not to be rude, but what exactly do you do as a football manager?

I think it's something like a waterboy.  He probably also has other tasks like filming the games and whatnot.

Exactly. There was a shortage of available cameras and a surplus of waterboys tonight so I just hung out with the medics (I know one from church) and the "Event Staff" (administrators). A friend of mine was filming though, from a cherry picker in the end zone. And for anyone who knows the weather out here (probably nobody), it was storming.

Prinicple: Good idea.

You wouldn't believe how many hot chicks were at Otakon.  OMFG!  And they were almost all cosplaying as some scantily clad character too!  Like Morrigan from Darkstalkers, a bunch of Rei from Evangelion, and even a couple Rikkus!  And, as we all (minus Joe) know, scantily clad chicks put out.

Baraboo Thunderbirds vs Reedsburg Beavers, Reedsburg's Homecoming, Away.

SHOOT THE BEAVER! SHOOT THE BEAVER!
EAT THE BEAVER! EAT THE BEAVER!
BEAVERS EAT WOOD!

Victory! 21-20. :)

The best part of the game, of course, is afterwards. On the bus ride home we sang several sweet songs, including but not limited to:
Mary Had A Little Lamb
99 Bottles of Beer On The Wall (made it to 86!)
The Song That Never Ends (made it through twice)
Happy Birthday (randomly tossed in a coach's name, Scheliewe)
Jingle Bells
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

If I weren't exhausted to the point of death I'd explain more on how the points were scored, but I'll spare you.

Are you retarded?  I am almost 100% positive Joe was using sarcasm when he said those songs were "sweet".  It's a joke.

Honestly, if you guys don't have something productive/nice to say in someone elses forums, get the fuck out.  There is no need for you people to say shit that doesn't need to be said.  Talk about being immature.

Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Hahahah, then you apparently do not know Joe very well then. How do you know we weren't being sarcastic as well? Talk about being stupid. It's the internet it's very hard to sense sarcasm through words. You're telling us that we going to people forum not having productive things to say? LOOK AT JOE POSTS @ PEOPLE FORUMS/ THE WHOLE FORUM. Then come back. K bye.

Xex, please do not post in my forum.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just not going to tolerate being relentlessly and unprovolkedly (sorry, smudged together word) in my own forum.

Ok, I'll stop atfer this post lol. You're not going to tolerate that on your forum huh? Do you remember the things you posted in deadly's forum? I'm sure those wasn't tolerated as well. I just don't like the fact you're saying stuff like that and still be doing the same thing. But of course this is your forum, so I'll obey it.

I realize what I did was wrong in deadly's forum, and as of now I rarely even read it. I don't really mind if you post here with mature posts like that, but the other ones were out of line IMO.

My football team STARTED the songs.

Yeah but the fact that you still think those songs are sweet still makes you a faggot, including the football team. If you join that football team you're a fag, and if you stay as a manger you're still a fag. Your best bet is to not be on the team at all.

I can't be for sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but I could take an educated guess and seeing that it was an insult towards Joe, I doubt it was sarcasm.  And yes, I am telling you guys that you are going into Joe's forums without anything productive/nice to say, and it's true.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.
