Joe, seriously, dude...get out.  Go to a mall, get some friends.
Don't be a team manager unless you're a chick...you're not helping your social life that way.  Get a hobby that has people in it that you can meet & interact with in real life...preferably a hobby that isnt horribly nerdy

You wouldn't believe how many hot chicks were at Otakon.  OMFG!  And they were almost all cosplaying as some scantily clad character too!  Like Morrigan from Darkstalkers, a bunch of Rei from Evangelion, and even a couple Rikkus!  And, as we all (minus Joe) know, scantily clad chicks put out.
