Not my fault!
« on: September 16, 2006, 02:18:15 pm »
My parents were doing electrical work all morning, so I had to shut off the server with no advance notice.  Sorry 'bout that, but hopefully it'll be back on for awhile.

Don't worry, it's alright.  I sleep during the morning.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Damnit, they did it again without telling me.  It's a total bitch to bring up 10 VMWare servers that have been hard-shutdown at once.

LOL Damn
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

My mom does the same things--She says that she cleaned up the basement a few days ago and *accidentally* unplugged my computer, When I go downstairs I find the entire extension cord from the computer to the power bar has been removed, and the power cord has been completely yanked out of the power supply, and put in a drawer.  ::)

If your house burns down from an extension cord being used for that, I highly doubt your insurance aggency will give you any money, btw.  :)

It's not a long one, it's one of those blue ones, I think it's meant for a car being plugged in at winter time, but I use it anyways, and it works fine. Been using it for nearly two years now. :)

It's meant for high voltage, it's 3-pronged. :)

3 leads doesn't mean it is meant for high voltage, it just means it is grounded ;)

Well, other provinces have water (maritines, quebec, ontario, BC), and some have mountains (BC, Alberta, Ontario), both of which regulate the weather a little.  But Manitoba is like North Dakota and other places around here: no water and no mountains = totally continental climate, meaning it goes way up in the summer and way down in winter.

I only have to worry about -21 and a bit + windchill.  Yeah, so shorts and a t-shirt it is.
