I'm going to print this off and take it to my AP Comparative Government/Politics class. This is even more backup to my "Mexicans ruin national identity" argument (or something like that...I forget what it is but I mentioned the Mexican Independence Day parade CrAz3D posted about.)

I don't see why anybody would care about something so minor.  Big friggin' deal.  Now, when the US hung Canada's flag upside down, that was a bit more important! :P

It's called national pride. In the US, I'd raise the American flag higher than the Mexico flag any day.

It doesn't matter.  If the American flag was upside down and under the Mexican flag on the same pole, THAT would be insulting.  You guys should put all the time and energy you spend worrying about trivial and pointless stuff like this into something more productive.

That's fine too.  Let people fly their flags however they want to.

Maybe the guy raising the American flag was just lazy! :P

Well, if you looked at it upside down, it'd look like the American flag would be rightside up and higher, and the Mexican flag would look upside down and lower. It'd be a metaphor for how twisted American culture is to Mexican culture.

OMG CUZ THEYRE SUPPOSED TO!?

I suppose I'm not up for making it illegal for people to do that, but it should be WAY legal for me to beat their ass RED, WHITE, & BLUE!

Flying another country's flag?...Why would you support a country you left (because its fucjed to hell) over the country you live in (which you came to cause life is way better here)?!

My uber-liberal friend said to me "You know, this area used to be Mexico first, and then we took it over...you know, just saying..."...  I OH SO badly want to respond:

"You know, women didn't have the right to vote, then we gave it to you...you know, just saying

If the country was run on the prospect of "beat people who do stuff you don't like", there would be a lot less crime.

But there'd be a whole lot more beatings.  That's also a bad thing.

I don't think it's fair for us to be required to fly the flag at an equal height either. It's our country, we should fly higher.
