Anyway, gun control laws don't make a difference.  Most of the violent crimes commited (ie: crimes with a gun) are by people who probably didn't get their gun legally in the first place and almost definitely don't care about [gun control] laws.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the amendment states the right to both gun ownership, and a militia.
